Biocare contains Biotin & aids in the treatment of soft, cracked, brittle or poorly shaped hooves.  Biotin is known to stimulate keratin production, in the coronary band & laminae, thus improving strength & integrity of the periople, hoof wall, sole, frog & white line.

Directions for Use:

It is essential to feed Biocare daily for 3 - 5 months at the correct level to obtain an improvement in hoof wall strength. After 4 - 8 weeks of Biocare supplementation, it is expected that a growth band of new "defect free" hoof wall should develop below the coronet (the upper border of the hoof wall at the hairline).  Continue daily supplementation with Biocare until this new hoof wall has covered all of the hoof.

In severe cases, daily supplementation may be required for 9 - 12 months.

• Foals: (up to 150kg):  1 x 5g scoop daily.
• Ponies & Donkeys (300kg): 1 x 5g scoop daily.
• Horses (450kg): 2 x 5g scoops daily
• Heavy Horses (550kg): 3 x 5g scoops daily.
