In the last few week I have had an increased number of people asking me questions about Bone Spavins.  In view of the increase interest in this area I thought in might be useful to discuss the difference between a Bog Spavin and a Bone Spavin.

What is a Bog Spavin?

A Bog Spavin is a long term, low grade inflammation of the synovial membrane that surrounds the tarsel, hock or joint,

A Bone Spavin is a degenerative condition with a gradual loss of Cartilage of the joint, or inflammation of the bone or bony tissue of the hock joint.
