As a matter of interest...

There are certain substances that reduce the effectiveness of delicate flower essences: Toxic metals (e.g. aluminium, lead), steroids, camphor, garlic and coffee.

Flower essences should also be kept away from extreme heat, and light, mobiles, radiation (e.g. computers, microwave ovens) to ensure the best possible shelf life.
